Sling Strong post natal babywearing fitness classes are re-launching March 2022. Miss Nicky is bringing baby no 2 into the world in January and will be back with classes at our new venue in South Gyle as soon as she is able in March. Register your interest on our waiting list and we’ll get in touch as soon as the new class timetable is launched.

About Sling Strong Classes

Sling Strong postnatal fitness classes are designed for new mums looking group excerise to get back in shape without having to leave your baby. Our classes combine baby wearing with fitness, toning, strength, stretching and aerobic movement. Connect with other new mums, while you repair and rebuild the muscles weakened by pregnancy and childbirth.

EMD & Sling Smart Approved

EMD UK is the national governing body for group excercise. Sling Strong baby wearing postnatal fitness classes are fully approved by EMD UK. All our instructors are qualified in safe sling wearing and our class conent has been certified as safe by ‘Sling Smart‘.   You are in good hands with us.

Is a sling provided?

If you do not already own one, you should purchase a sling before coming to your first class.

It’s important that you feel confident and comfortable wearing a sling with baby.

You can purchase slings from our online shop 

What should I wear?

You don’t need any special uniforms or footwear for Sling Strong. Your normal gym gear and trainers will suffice.

Clothing for class should be comfortable, form fitting and should promote ease of movement.

Footware should be flexible, cushioned, with good grip.

Can I bring my buggy ?

Of course! Each venue is accessible.

We’ll have a buggy park area ready at the studio space for you to use while the class is taking place.
